Obituary: Donabelle Mabel Bohall

A graveside service for Donabelle Mabel Bohall, 78, a Carson area resident since 1939, will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Lone Mountain Cemetery.

Mrs. Bohall died Jan. 7, 2001, at Carson Healthcare. She was born Jan. 15, 1922, in Wyatt, Ind., to Henry and Fanny Shriner Felton.

Before moving to this area, she lived in Indiana.



Mrs. Bohall was a homemaker. She was a friend of the Nevada State Railroad Museum, a member of the Nevada State Museum and a member of the Nevada Landmark Society. She played a vital role in her husband, Daun Bohall’s, photograph collection and collection of legendary Nevada historical and important articles, many of which were presented to the Nevada State Museum.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years in 1998.




Among her survivors are a daughter of Reno; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Cremation will be at Walton’s Carson Sierra Crematory.

Walton’s Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery, is in charge of arrangements.
