Obituary- Donald M. Duty

No services are planned for Donald M. Duty, who died of cancer Aug. 13, 2001, at his home in Stateline, Nev. He was 72.

Mr. Duty retired from Ford Motor Company in Milpitas, Calif., after 32 years and relocated to Lake Tahoe, where he has lived for the past 21 years.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta Duty of Stateline; son, Thomas Duty of South Lake Tahoe; daughters, Donna Avila of Carson City, Nev., and Sharon Duty of Watsonville, Calif.; sisters, Gay Cuenca of Lodi, Calif., and Ellen London of Fresno, Calif.; brother, James Duty of San Jose, Calif.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.



At Mr. Duty’s request, no services will be conducted. He will be cremated and his ashes scattered. Contributions in his name may be made to Barton Hospice of the Lake, 2092 Lake Tahoe Blvd., No. 500, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150.
