Obituary- Ellen Mary ‘Nano’ Day
Private inurnment is planned for Ellen Mary “Nano” Day, who died June 16, 2001, at Barton Memorial Hospital. She was 76.
Mrs. Day was born Oct. 20, 1925, in Canada. She had been a resident of the South Shore of Lake Tahoe, both California and Nevada, for the past 20 years. She enjoyed people and knitting for her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Carol Ann Perez of Stateline, Nev., and Helen Raye Smith of Fallon, Nev.; sons, Victor La Vance Day and Kurt Mark Day, both of Palmdale, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Viewing took place June 18 at McFarlane Mortuary Chapel and private inurnment is planned.
