Obituary — Eva Agnes Manley

Memorial services will be celebrated on Friday, May 23 at 11 a.m. in the McFarlane Mortuary Chapel for Eva Agnes Manley, who passed away March 25, 2003, at Barton Memorial Skilled Nursing Facility. She was 88 years old.

Ms. Manley was born on March 26, 1914, in Cavendish, Vt. She was a waitress most of her life and worked in resorts in Florida, Colorado, Arizona and California. She worked at the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite National Park for 24 years, until her retirement in 1980. It was then she came to live at Lake Tahoe.

She is survived by nieces and nephews Shirley Allen, Barbara Miglorie, Mary Lou Parker, David Ellison and Gordon Manley; and by many friends, who will miss her greatly.



She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Helen Manley, and nine brothers and sisters.
