Obituary: Filomena I. Ibarra

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 19 for Filomena I. Ibarra, who died March 12, 2001, at her home in South Lake Tahoe. She was 70.

Mrs. Ibarra was born May 8, 1930, in the Philippines and had been a 11-year resident of South Lake Tahoe. She worked in the food department at Caesars Tahoe.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Rogelio and Procelyn Ibarra of South Lake Tahoe, Geronimo and Leonida Ibarra of South Lake Tahoe, Reynaldo and Mae Ibarra of Hawaii and Virgilio and Hermelita Ibarra of San Diego, Calif.; daughters and sons-in-law, Esther and Rogelio Rinton, Vilma Ibarra and Nora and Brady Manning, all of South Lake Tahoe; brothers, Hilario Ibarra and Jovito Ibarra of the Philippines; sisters, Elena Tolentino and Juanita Ines of the Philippines; nephew, Mario Ibarra; grandchildren, Llanie Ibarra, Raymond Ibarra, Kaisser Ibarra, Randall Ibarra, Russel Ibarra, Renz Ibarra, Ragel Ibarra and Jerry Ines.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 17 and from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 18 and a rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Sunday, all at the McFarlane Mortuary Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, March 19 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, followed by interment at Happy Homestead Cemetery.
