Obituary — Jon Curtis Hashimoto


Memorial services will take place May 10 for Jon Curtis Hashimoto, who died of a heart attack May 6, 2002, at South Lake Tahoe. He was 47.

Mr. Hashimoto, who was known as “Jon the Plumber,” was born Jan. 16, 1955, at Los Angeles, Calif. He has been a resident of South Lake Tahoe for the past 14 years. He was employed as a plumber and he enjoyed playing pool and golf, cooking and spending time with his wife and dog.

He is survived by his wife, Marcylee Hashimoto of South Lake Tahoe; parents, Tosh and Amy Hashimoto of Gardena, Calif.; brother Paul Hashimoto of Los Angeles; sister, Ann Hashimoto of Gardena; and his dog, Louie.

Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m. May 10 at McFarlane Mortuary Chapel, 887 Emerald Bay Road.
