Obituary: Joy Alcott

A funeral service will take place Aug. 20 for Joy Alcott, who died quietly at home in Sparks, Nev., Aug. 18, 2004, with her family and friends by her side. She was 76.

Joy was born May 7, 1928, at Richmond, Calif. She had lived in the Reno/Sparks area for the past 20 years. Prior to moving to Reno, she and her family had resided at South Lake Tahoe and Martinez, Calif.

She is survived by her parents, Ernie and Ann Limbocker of Reno; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Wendie Alcott of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Bob Bell of Tulelake, Calif., Robin and Jay Beesemyer of Sparks and Wendy and Greg Gann of Reno; daughter, Nancy Becerra of Sparks; grandchildren, Paul, Stacey, Sharon, Jimmy, Nick, Mike, Niki and Charlee; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and close friends.



A viewing is scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. and funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Aug. 20 at Walton’s Sparks Funeral Home, Sparks, Nev.
