Obituary- Kiki A. Poletti

As was his wish, no services will take place for Kiki A. Poletti, who died Aug. 4, 2001, at Richmond, Calif. He was 81.

Mr. Poletti was born July 20, 1920, at Madera, Calif., to Mario and Elisa Poletti. He and his wife Betty moved to South Lake Tahoe in 1952, where they owned and operated Poletti Electric until his retirement. He had been a resident of South Lake Tahoe and Richmond and enjoyed traveling in his motor home and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his sister, Olga Baratta of Richmond; brother, Mike Poletti of Clovis, Calif.; niece, Lorene Rasner of Carson City, Nev.; daughter, Pam Poletti-Jones of South Lake Tahoe; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Frits Buyten of Carson City; grandchildren, Juston Jones, Bernadette Poletti, Trent Jones, Ashley Sneed, Darrit Jones, Nevin Jones, Lukas Loyd, Ben and Matt Buyten; great-grandson, Austin Sneed; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty, in 1996.

Interment will be at Happy Homestead Cemetery. The family asks that all who remember him raise their glasses very high tonight.
