Obituary- Laurie Lyn Forsell Mills

Graveside services will be Aug. 29 for Laurie Lyn Forsell Mills, who died in her sleep Aug. 18, 2001, at Barton Memorial Hospital. She was 33.

Born May 20, 1968, at Atlanta, Ga., to Jeff Mills and Barbara Dyer, she had lived in the Dayton and Mound House, Nev., area for 22 years and had been a resident of South Lake Tahoe for the past year. She had been a volunteer medical technician for the Dayton and Mound House volunteer fire departments for about six years. A graduate of Dayton High School, she had completed a business course at Lake Tahoe Community College and recently embarked on a new career as an independent contractor. She was a high achiever who excelled in everything she did. She had a contagious enthusiasm for life, especially with children and family.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Forsell of Reno, Nev.; daughter, Autumn Lyn Forsell of Reno; step-daughters, Kirsten and Anna Forsell of Reno; mother, Barbara Dyer of Dayton; father, Jeff Mills of Edneyville, N.C.; sister, Michele Mills of Dayton; and great-grandfather, Archie Cioia of Dayton. She was predeceased by grandparents, Lois and Don Mills.



Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 29 at Happy Homestead Cemetery.

Memorial contributions to help with family funeral expenses may be made to the Fund to Benefit Laurie Forsell Mills at Bank of America.
