Obituary — Loren V. Crain

Memorial services will take place July 22 for Loren V. Crain, who died July 17, 2002, at Barton Memorial Hospital. He was 76.

Mr. Crain was born Nov. 15, 1925, in Missouri. Before moving to South Lake Tahoe, he worked for C F & I Steele Company in San Francisco. He was an electrician and worked for the High Sierra Hotel & Casino for 29 years before retiring. He loved to fish and hunt and many of his friends know of his love for Keno.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Crain of South Lake Tahoe; son, Dwain Cain of Redding, Calif.; sisters, Juanita Zachary of Forbestown, Calif., and Shirley Slavers of Boliver, Mo.; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will begin at 3 p.m. July 22 at McFarlane Mortuary Chapel. Inurnment will be at Happy Homestead Cemetery.
