Obituary – Margaret Ottini Kline

Services will be Tuesday, July 17 for Margaret Ottini Kline, who died July 11, 2001 at her Zephyr Cove home, following a yearlong battle with cancer. She was 61.

Mrs. Kline was born Aug. 29, 1939, to Ralph and Margaret Ottini at Carson City, Nev. She was a graduate of Carson High School as well as the University of Nevada, Reno, where she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She then taught second grade at Rodger Corbit Elementary School. In 1963 she moved to Zephyr Cove, where she taught second grade at Zephyr Cove Elementary School and became a faithful member of Our Lady of Tahoe Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Dudley Kline of Zephyr Cove; son, Kyle Kline of Fort Collins, Colo.; and daughter, Kress Schim of Clayton, Calif. She was predeceased by her parents.



Services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 17 at Our Lady of Tahoe, West Elk Point Road in Zephyr Cove. Private family interment will follow.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Sierra Biotech Medical Research Corp., c/o Dr. Stephan Hall, 1500 East 2nd Street, Suite 302, Reno, NV 89502.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — California lifted regional stay-at-home orders across the state Monday in response to improving coronavirus conditions, returning the state to a system of county-by-county restrictions, state health officials announced.
