Obituary- Mariah Davenport

A pictorial memorial service will take place Sept. 17 for Mariah Davenport, who died in an automobile accident Sept. 12, 2001, at Stateline, Nev. She was 27.

Born June 10, 1974, in Wyoming, she had been a resident of South Lake Tahoe for six years and had been employed by Advanced Billing for the past two years. She was a wonderful mother and friend to many who will miss her and love her forever. An avid outdoors person, she was proud that Tahoe was her home and the place she chose to raise her 11-year-old son who was her life. She will be missed greatly by all and her love for life and her energy will live on in their hearts.

Survivors include her son, Christopher Davenport; mother, Sharon Weis; brother, Jason Davenport; and sister, Lori Sue Morley, all of South Lake Tahoe; aunt and uncle Rita and Dan McEwing of Stateline; aunt, Pam Dvorak of Vista, Calif.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Robert Davenport, and her brother, Robert Davenport, Jr.



Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17 at McFarlane’s Mortuary Chapel, 887 Emerald Bay Road.

Donations to the Mariah Davenport Memorial Fund may be made at Wells Fargo Bank, Stateline.
