Obituary- Mark Russell Williamson

Memorial services took place April 27 at Hood River, Ore., for Mark Russell Williamson, who died April 20, 2001, at San Quintin, Baja California as a result of a head injury. He was 31.

Mr. Williamson was born Feb. 15, 1970, at Kellogg, Idaho, and attended schools in Kalispell, Mont., and Spokane, Wash.

Survivors include his daughter, Jenna Ann Stroisch; mother, Christine Slaback of South Lake Tahoe; father, Warren Williamson of Elm Springs, Ark.; grandmother, Jessie Rae Amsberry of Spokane; brothers, Scott Marbut of Okinawa, Japan and Kenneth Williamson of Uzbekistan; aunt and uncle, Jim and Jan Amsberry, and cousins, Adrian and Lindsay Amsberry, all of Fullerton, Calif.



A trust fund has been established for Mr. Williamson’s 8-year-old daughter. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Mark Williamson Memorial Fund, Columbia River Bank, 2650 Cascade Ave., Hood River, OR 97031.
