Obituary- Martin George Freim

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Aug. 13 for Martin George Freim, who died Aug. 8, 2001, at Carson City, Nev. He was 84.

Mr. Freim was born March 29,1917, at Rock County, Minn., to Arne H. and Inga (Onerheim) Freim. He had been a resident of Zephyr Cove since 1972, coming from Castro Valley, Calif. He had 14 years of education and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Freim was a member of the Our Lady of Tahoe Catholic Church Men’s Club in Zephyr Cove. He enjoyed playing golf.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Freim of Carson City; and sisters, Ester Sather of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Hilda Hansen of Carretsen, S.D.



A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13 at Our Lady of Tahoe Catholic Church, Elks Point Road, Round Hill, Nev. Inurnment will follow at Happy Homestead Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Walton’s Chapel of the Valley in Carson City.
