OBITUARY: Maynard Pinkham

June 8, 1941 – May 12, 2012

Maynard Pinkham passed away at the age of 70 on May 12, 2012 in Bradenton FL after a short battle with cancer. He served 2 years in the army stationed in Germany. As a young man he worked in the Resort Industry and ran a hotel on Great Exuma in the Bahamas.

He was a union carpenter and for 21 years he was in charge of construction for Harrah’s Hotel and Casino in South Lake Tahoe. He was president of the South Tahoe Swim Team and enjoyed traveling and officiating at the meets. After retiring to Anna Maria, FL 15 years ago his hobbies were building furniture, fishing, boating, and driving his yellow corvette.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Linda, son Brett, daughter Heather Nyberg, sister Janice Raymond and grandchildren Alyssa Bosch, Amanda Bosch, Andrew Nyberg and Adam Zell.

A Celebration of his life at Roser Memorial Church in Anna Maria Florida will be held Wednesday May 16, 2012.
