Pamela Marjorie Adamson passed away at her home in South Lake Tahoe, CA, on December 27, 2011. She was born near Luton, England on August 23, 1939. Pamela was passionately involved with St. John’s in the Wilderness Episcopal Church and St. Francis of the Mountains Episcopal Chapel. She had also been involved for many years with the USO, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, the Tahoe Tallac Association, the Tahoe Windjammers Yacht Club and the South Lake Tahoe Yacht Club.

Pamela was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael who passed away on April 13, 2011. Pamela and Michael lived all over the world including the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Michigan, Germany and Japan, before retiring to South Lake Tahoe. They traveled extensively and had many friends. They led full lives and were the very best of friends. Their pet and companion, Mungo, will be adopted by friends.

A memorial service will be held at St. John’s in the Wilderness Episcopal Church, 1776 Highway 50, Glenbrook, Nevada 89413 on January 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. The Reverend Bishop Jerry Lamb will officiate. A reception will follow at Pamela’s home.

In lieu of flowers, Pamela’s wishes were that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Stroke Association.
