OBITUARY: Patrick E. Purnell

Patrick lived the majority of his life in South Lake Tahoe, and he had a one way lift ticket to Heaven with the first snow of the season. He loved snowboarding, the mountains, the lake, his family, and his many caring and genuine friends and coworkers.

Patrick was experienced in jewelry casting, finishing and repair which began at Purnell Jewelers in Phoenix, AZ. He also worked at Windsor Diamond Jewelers in Folsom, CA.

His love for the mountains called him back to Lake Tahoe in 2002. Patrick worked with extraordinary individuals at the Tahoe Keys at the time of his passing. He was a blessing to us all and he will be deeply missed.

Patrick is survived by his mother Peggy Hunt-Purnell; brother Joe Purnell; sisters Valerie Olshove and Carol Thompson; nieces Ashley Cox, Tasha Fogarty; and nephews Rick Purnell, Josh Olshove, and Caleb Thompson.

A special thanks to the Wind Jammer Association and the Tahoe Keys Marina and Yacht Club for their kindness and generosity to Patrick and his family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on behalf of patrick purnell to: Veterans’ Guest House, 880 Locust, Reno, NV 89502
