Obituary — Phillip La Berg

Services will take place Nov. 2 for Phillip La Berg, who died Oct. 26, 2002, at Washoe Medical Center, Reno, Nev. He was 53.

Mr. La Berg was born Jan. 4, 1949, at San Francisco, Calif., to Phillip and Frances La Berge. He was an alumni of Sacred Heart High School, San Francisco. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy, from which he was honorably discharged. He had been a resident of Zephyr Cove, Nev., for more than 25 years, where he owned Tahoe Travellers. He loved the travel business and working with the many people he met.

He is survived by his daughter, Brigitte La Berg of Selah, Wash.; uncle and aunt, Vince and Dorothy La Berge of San Diego, Calif.; and many, many good friends in Tahoe, San Francisco and the world, who loved and will certainly miss him.



Services will begin at 10 a.m. Nov. 2 at Our Lady of Tahoe Catholic Church, West Elks Point Road, Round Hill, followed by a gathering at the Black Olive in Round Hill Square shopping center.
