Obituary – Ralph Weston Landre Jr.

Services will take place April 24 for Ralph Weston Landre Jr., who died April 9, 2004, at Auburn, Calif. He was 74.

Ralph was born May 30, 1929, at Yakima, Wash. He retired from the California Highway Patrol in Grass Valley, Calif., and moved to Loomis, Calif., to be close to his grandchildren. He recently published a biography of his law enforcement career titled “The Broken Center Line.” He and his wife are members of Sierra College Boulevard Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley; sons, Tim, Jon and Jeff; brother, Lowell, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will begin at 10 a.m. April 24 at Sierra College Boulevard Baptist Church, 4800 Sierra College in Rocklin, Calif.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Baptist Church.
