Obituary: Raymond Aaron Ezekiel

Memorial services will be Aug. 20 for Raymond Aaron Ezekiel who died Aug. 16, 2000, at Washoe Medical Center, Reno, Nev., of heart disease. He was 70.

Mr. Ezekiel was born on Oct. 29. 1929, at Shanghai, China. He held a masters degree in business administration from the University of California at Los Angeles and had been general manager/vice president at Ford Aerospace in Mountain View, Calif. After his retirement, he and his wife of 42 years, Ann Ezekiel, moved to South Lake Tahoe where they have owned a vacation home for many years.

Mr. Ezekiel was a member of the South Lake Tahoe Rotary Club, the South Lake Tahoe Yacht Club and served on the Lake Tahoe Community College Foundation Board of Directors. He enjoyed working with others, traveling, reading, spending time with his family and friends and playing poker.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Ezekiel of South Lake Tahoe; son Mark Ezekiel of Newport Beach, Calif.; daughters, Michelle Mirizzi of San Jose, Calif., and Renee Chaffin of Reno, Nev.; sisters, Elsie Ezekiel of San Francisco and Rachel Jacob of Vancouver, B.C., Canada; and grandchildren, Nathan Mirizzi, Jordan Chaffin and Kendall Chaffin.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 20, at Temple Emanu-El, 1031 Manzanita Lane, Reno, Nev.
