OBITUARY: RAYMOND HENRY HOLLOWAY

1932 – 2012

Raymond Henry Holloway was born

April 18, 1932, in Englewood, CO and left this life February 29, 2012, after a long battle with COPD.

Ray enlisted in the Army in 1952, then studied engineering at Kansas State University

at Pittsburgh (Pitt State). While in Kansas, he met his bride, Wanda Fisher. They were married in September 1955. Ray then began a long career with AT&T.

Ray’s work took them all over the United States, but they finally settled in Novato, CA in 1966. During their travels, two sons were born: Donald Ray and Ronald Lee. Ray was very active in Little League, Elk’s Club, and various other charities. Ray enjoyed all sports and was a season pass holder of the San Francisco Forty Niners since the Kesar Days. He also enjoyed traveling, reading, and gardening. Ray was preceded in death by his wife Wanda in 2011. He is survived by his two sons: Don and Ron from Lake Tahoe.

At Ray’s request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to COPD Research Foundation or Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.
