Obituary — Raymonde B. Deutsch

No services are planned for Raymonde B. Deutsch, who died July 6, 2002, at her home in South Lake Tahoe. She was 82.

Mrs. Deutsch was born Sept. 22, 1919, at Paris, France, to Jules and Marguerite Beholtzer. She moved to Luxembourg with her parents when she graduated from school. She was a dress designer. She met her husband, David Deutsch, while in Luxembourg during World War II. They had their first child, Raymond, while stationed in Germany in 1946. The Deutsches returned to the United States where their second child, Marguerite, was born in 1947.

After her husband retired they moved to South Lake Tahoe, where Mrs. Deutsch participated in many activities including Barton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, South Lake Tahoe Yacht Club, Duplicate Bridge Club, The Retired Officers Association and the South Lake Tahoe Garden Club.



She is survived by daughter, Marguerite Illingworth of Marin County; son, Ramond Deutsch of Oakland, Calif.; and grandsons, Brenden and Gavin.

Donations in Mrs. Deutsch’s memory may be made to The Center for Attitudinal Healing, Buchannan Street, Sausalito, Calif.
