Obituary- Rene Breedlove

A viewing took place Sept. 23 at McFarlane Mortuary for Rene Breedlove, who died Sept. 21 at her home in South Lake Tahoe. She was 38.

Mrs. Breedlove was born Sept. 19, 1963, to Robert and Penny Thompson. She was a longtime resident of Long Beach, Calif., where she worked at the 36 36 Club and other famous places. After moving to South Lake Tahoe she worked at Harrah’s Tahoe and Hard Rock Cafe. Mrs. Breedlove will be remembered for charity that knew no boundaries, her heart and home were always open to those in need. She would go countless miles to help a friend and made everyone around her want to be a better person. She was a devout vegetarian, who loved hot foods and a good laugh. Her family and friends in Long Beach as well as those she touched at the South Shore will miss her greatly. She was loved very much and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her brother, Rob; sister, Rodi; grandparents, Polly and Jim; parents-in-law, Jim and Darlene Breedlove; her loyal dogs, Safeway and Tattoo; and her family in Long Beach. She was predeceased by her mother and husband.
