Obituary- Robert L. Hazlett

Services will be at 10 a.m. today for Robert L. Hazlett, who died June 4, 2001, at his home in Vacaville, Calif. He was 73.

Mr. Hazlett was born Oct. 26, 1927, in Riceville, Iowa. He had been a pipe insulator for 40 years with the Asbestos Industry of Northern California, No. 16. He was a member of the S.H.A.R.E. program in Vacaville and was a Third Degree Mason in the F. & A.M. Hiram Tahoe Lodge in Eldorado, Calif. He formerly resided at South Lake Tahoe for 10 years.

Mr. Hazlett was predeceased by his wife, Lucille Hazlett. Survivors include daughters June and Susan Hazlett, both of Vacaville; grandsons Sean Schneidewind and Paul M. Hazlett, both of Vacaville; sister Ellen Benone of Pinole, Calif., and numerous nieces and nephews.



Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Nadeau Family Funeral Home, 180 East Monte Vista Avenue, Vacaville, preceded by visitation at 9 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Society of Solano County, 817 Missouri, Suite 4A, Fairfield, CA 94533.
