Obituary — Rosalie Hopkins Dehnen

Graveside services will take place May 14 for Rosalie Hopkins Dehnen, who died May 7, 2003, at South Lake Tahoe. She was 73.

Mrs. Dehnen was born March 15, 1930, at San Francisco, Calif., and was a 14-year resident of South Lake Tahoe. She was an avid supporter of the Lake Tahoe Unified School District music program and Little League a was a girls softball coach in Southern California for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Henry B. Dehnen of South Lake Tahoe; children, Kristeen Dehnen, Susan Mikanovich and Michael Dehnen, all of South Lake Tahoe; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Susan Dehnen of Ft. Pierre, Fla.; grandchildren, Rachel Dehnen of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and Troy Mikanovich of South Lake Tahoe; and longtime friend, Jackie Kightlinger of Lincoln, Neb. She was predeceased by her parents, William Kenneth and Rose Hopkins.

Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. May 14 at Happy Homestead Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of the Lake, the American Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
