Obituary — Rosemary Edna Lario

Memorial services will be Aug. 24 for Rosemary Edna Lario, who died Aug. 19, 2002, at her home in South Lake Tahoe. She was 66.

Mrs. Lario was born Aug. 16, 1936, at Sutherland, Neb. She had been a resident of Fremont, Calif., for 25 years prior to moving to South Lake Tahoe eight years ago. A retired travel agent, she was a member of the Sheriff’s Team of Active Retirees, where she was in charge of publicity and historical information. Mrs. Lario also worked with Mental Health of El Dorado County and was member of the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center and the South Lake Tahoe Cancer League. She enjoyed needlepoint, cross stitch, knitting and stamp collecting.

She is survived by her husband, James E. Lario of South Lake Tahoe; father, Theodore M. Davieau of South Lake Tahoe; son, James E. Lario Jr. of Virginia; daughters, Kimberly V. Medeiros of Fremont and Pamela J. Determan of Nevada City, Calif.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.



Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m. Aug. 24 at Sierra Community Church, 1165 Sierra Blvd.
