Obituary- Ruth Ann McArthur

Memorial services will be Sept. 11 for Ruth Ann McArthur, who died Sept. 5, 2001, in her home at South Lake Tahoe. She was 58.

She was born in Chico, Calif., and had been a resident of South Lake Tahoe for 35 years. She enjoyed taking classes at Lake Tahoe Community College, working with computers and doing volunteer work at Barton Memorial Hospital and with Alcoholics Anonymous.

Survivors include her parents, Harold and Manuelita McArthur of Fairfield, Calif.; son, James A. McArthur of Pacific House, Calif.; daughter, Stephanie McArthur of Burlingame, Calif.; sister, Claudia Morrison of Burlingame; brother, Harold McArthur Jr. of Eureka, Calif.; and grandchildren, Aiden and Owen McArthur.



Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sept. 11 in the McFarlane Mortuary Chapel, 887 Emerald Bay Road. Inurnment will be private.
