Obituary- Sean Michael Tomes
Memorial services will be Thursday, May 3 for Sean Michael Tomes, who died April 28, 2001, at Barton Memorial Hospital. He was 23.
Mr. Tomes was born Dec. 14, 1977, at Dearborn, Mich., and was a two-year resident of South Lake Tahoe. He divided his time between Michigan and South Lake Tahoe. A 1996 graduate of South Tahoe High School, he was employed as a counterman at Napa Auto Parts. He loved nature, music and writing.
Survivors include his mother, Brenda Theisen of South Lake Tahoe; father, Mark Tomes of Woodhaven, Mich.; sisters, Stephanie Kachigian and Heather Kachigian, both of Southgate, Mich., Megan LaBrecque of Lincoln Park, Mich., and Ashley Tomes of Woodhaven; aunts, Joanne Theisen and Carolyn Theisen, both of South Lake Tahoe, Janis Theisen of Pleasanton, Calif., Linda Theisen of San Francisco, Calif., and Phyllis Cholette of Michigan; and uncles, Daniel Theisen of Lake Orion, Mich., and Jim Theisen of Brownstown, Mich.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 3, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m., both at McFarlane Mortuary Chapel.
