Obituary- Shirley Jean Findley

A Rite of Christian Burial will take place Monday, Oct. 1 for Shirley Jean Findley, who died Sept. 22, 2001, at Burien, Wash. She was 60.

Mrs. Findley was born May 28, 1941, at Glenwood Springs, Colo., and had been a seven-year resident of South Lake Tahoe. She had managed silk screen manufacturing producing machinery for the silk screen industry at Seattle, Wash., and most recently was employed by Lake Tahoe Accommodations. She was a faithful member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. She loved the Lake Tahoe area, spending time on the water, enjoying swimming, parasailing and hiking as well as shopping for and collecting antiques.

Survivors include her mother, Golda Chrisman of Springfield, Ore.; son, David Shay of Auburn, Wash.; daughter, Suzanne Redroza of Merced, Calif.; and sister, Thelma Savage of Milwaukie, Ore.

Rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30 at McFarlane Mortuary. A Rite of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 1 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, followed by interment at Happy Homestead Cemetery.
