Obituary- Susan Anderson
Susan Anderson, one time resident of South Lake Tahoe, died in Merced. She was 68.
Mrs. Anderson was born Sept. 14, 1933 in Los Angeles and worked as a switchboard operator at General Dynamics for 25 years. After retirement, she moved to Lake Tahoe in 1992. In 1999, illness caused her and her mother, Mary L. Jones, to relocate off the hill. She was active at St. Theresa Church and particularly enjoyed playing Bingo there.
Survivors include her daughters, Susan Johnson of Lake Tahoe; Kathy Staehnke of San Diego; Irma Jacobs of Merced; her son, Steven Jacobs of Lake Tahoe; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Services will be held at St. Theresa Church on Sat. Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. followed by a memorial service for both Mrs. Anderson and her mother, Mary L. Jones, also a Lake Tahoe resident from 1992 to 1999.

El Dorado County suspends use of J&J vaccine; South Tahoe clinic not impacted
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — El Dorado County officials are suspending use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, but that will not impact the vaccination clinic being held Sunday and Monday in South Lake Tahoe.
