Obituary- Thomas ‘Chris’ Lamont Engle III

Graveside services will be Saturday, Oct. 6 for Thomas “Chris” Lamont Engle III, who died Sept. 30, 2001, at his home in Gardnerville, Nev. He was 32.

Mr. Engle was born June 30, 1969, at Riverside, Calif., to Thomas Lamont Engle Jr. and Amberly Bell. He loved Lake Tahoe, where he spent a great amount of time and he had many friends in the area. He was a resident of Los Angeles, Calif., before moving to Gardnerville 12 years ago, where he worked at Bently as a manufacturing representative. Music was his first love and he wrote his own. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved animals, camping and skiing. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his father, Thomas Lamont Engle Jr. of Washington; mother, Amberly Engle of Castro Valley, Calif.; grandfather, Thomas Lamont Engle Sr. of California; grandmother, Marilyn Engle of California; loving companion, Sabrina Lohr of Gardnerville; and children, Rommel and Drago.

Viewing will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 5 at FitzHenry’s Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville. Graveside services will take place at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Genoa Cemetery, Genoa, Nev.
