Obituary: Wesley Boe

No services are planned for Wesley L. Boe, who died of Parkinson’s disease Feb. 18, 2001, at Barton Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility. He was 72.

Mr. Boe was born Oct. 19, 1928, at Sheboygan, Wis., and had been a resident of South Lake Tahoe since 1974. He served in the U.S. Army and was in the Korean War. Mr. Boe had been a general contractor, cattle rancher and was a parking lot supervisor at Harveys Resort & Casino for 15 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and enjoyed gardening, dancing and the stock market.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Winkelman-Boe of South Lake Tahoe; daughters, Terry Rusing of Paradise Valley, Ariz., and Traci Owen of Scottsdale, Ariz.; sons, Scott Boe of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; granddaughters, Chelsea and Shea Rusing of Paradise Valley and Tatum and Ariel Owen of Scottsdale; stepchildren, Karl and Kathy Winkelman of Los Gatos, Calif., Erick Winkelman, and Darlene Winkelman of South Lake Tahoe, John and Claudia Winkelman of Los Altos, Calif., and Kurt Winkelman of Orangevale, Calif.; and step-grandchildren, Tara Winkelman of South Lake Tahoe, Ben, Gus and Karl Winkelman of Los Gatos and Lauren, Lindsey and Annie Winkelman of Los Altos.
