A graveside service for Michael T. Reinschmidt, 45, who died Feb. 20, 2001, in Washoe Medical Center in Reno, will be at 1:30 p.m. at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City. The Reverend Ken Haskins will officiate.

Mr. Reinschmidt was born May 3, 1955, in Hollywood, Calif., to Paul L. Reinschmidt Jr. and Shirley F. Carter.

He has lived in the South Lake Tahoe area for the past six years. He lived previously in Elko, Nev., for 13 years, and Hawthorne, Nev.

He was construction materials tester with the Nevada State Highway Department for four years and also worked for Granite Construction, Ruby Dome Construction, and Newmont Goldmine.

He served honorably in the U.S. Army for three years.

He enjoyed fishing at Cave Rock. He loved the Lakers, Rams and Dodgers professional sports teams. He adored his two children.

He is preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his children, Bryan Reinschmidt and Sarah Reinschmidt, both of Elko, Nev.; his father, Paul L. Reinschmidt Jr., of Stateline; his paternal grandfather, Paul L. Reinschmidt Sr., of Carson City; a brother, Peter Reinschmidt, of Carson City; nephews Peter and Paul Reinschmidt of Carson City.

FitzHenry’s Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville is handling arrangements.
