OHV public workshop next week

Eldorado National Forest will host a public workshop on routes for off-highway vehicles Wednesday in Placerville from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the El Dorado County Office of Education Activity Center, Building I, 6767 Green Valley Road.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss comments submitted to Forest Supervisor John Berry on how off-highway vehicles should be designated in Eldorado National Forest. U.S. Forest Service staff will explain how the comments will be used to develop the environmental analysis under way.

Additional information on the route designation process is at: http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/eldorado/.
