Olympic party for Cabral Wednesday

The Fresh Ketch in the Tahoe Keys will be the site of a party Wednesday in honor of Travis Cabral when he competes in the Winter Olympic Games.

Family and friends are welcome to come out and show their support as the lifelong South Lake Tahoe resident competes in the men’s freestyle moguls competition. The party begins at 7 p.m. and competition gets under way at 8 p.m. at the Fresh Ketch.

The televised action will be from earlier in the day, so the results may not be a surprise to everybody.

Sierra-at-Tahoe staff will be on hand distributing cow bells, autographed pictures of Cabral and other Olympic party favors as fans watch Travis go for the gold on the big screen.
