It’s time to celebrate the catalog of The King of American music: Beginning Tuesday, Dec. 19, an Elvis Presley-based show takes over the South Shore Room at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe.
“One Night With The King is a tribute show to rock music’s biggest icon, Elvis Presley. The show celebrates the storied career of Elvis from the Sun Studio recording days all through his movies, his 1968 television comeback special and his legendary Las Vegas concerts,” states the Harrah’s Lake Tahoe website.
Brandon Bennett performs as Presley, and the show is filled with elaborate costumes, background dancers and a backing band. In 2008, Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. named Bennett the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist — and the competition included artists from the U.S., Australia, England, France, Canada and more.
“Hailing from Louisiana, Bennett brings Elvis’ charm and charisma to the stage with his uncanny ability to re-create Presley’s golden period from the ‘50s through the ‘70s,” continues the site.
For those who love The King, rock ‘n’ roll and the history of Sun Records, this is a show you won’t want to miss.
One Night With The King begins its nearly two-week run on Tuesday, Dec. 19. Performances are held Tuesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and tickets begin at $38.48, plus tax and fees.
Harrah’s Lake Tahoe is located at 15 U.S. 50 in Stateline.
