Guttermouth

“Covered with Ants”

Epitaph

3 stars

Want to offend your mom, dad, teacher, most of your friends and lose your girlfriend in the process? Then buy the new Guttermouth, ’cause it rocks. These anti-politically correct punks from the L.A. suburbs have been offending crowds for over a decade.

They’ve been spat upon, yelled at and had objects hurled at them wherever they play – the way punk should be. “Covered with Ants” comes across a bit more produced than their six previous albums, but it still has the snotty, offensive feel that Guttermouth is famous for. So don’t snooze on this one. You could be the hippest kid in school, if you get it first.
