As the holidays approach, all of us here at the Barton Skilled Nursing Facility would like to express our gratitude for a community that supports us in every possible way. We are especially thankful to Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, which allows us to take our residents celebrating a birthday out to dinner each month. This dinner out has allowed our residents to experience “a night on the town” which brings smiles to their faces and joy in our hearts. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you!

Pumpkin Run

South Tahoe Middle School would like to thank Raley’s at the Y for helping to provide pumpkins for our annual Pumpkin Run. With their help, we were able to give away over 300 pumpkins. We look forward to working with Raley’s again next year and celebrating the 50th year of this South Tahoe tradition.

Little League

The Lake Tahoe Golf Course held a fundraiser this summer benefitting the South Tahoe National Little League. Through their efforts, we received a donation in excess of $1,600. Those funds will be used to purchase important safety equipment for our players. Your efforts and generosity are greatly appreciated by all of us. Thank you. The Little League would also like to extend our gratitude to Boulder Exterminators for helping to keep our grounds and facilities clean and safe throughout the year via donations and maintenance. We appreciate your time, effort and commitment to the youth of South Lake Tahoe! The South Tahoe National Little League is a non-profit, all volunteer organization benefitting the young people of our area. Donations like these enable us to provide the best experience for our players and their families.
