Kudos & Kindness: Kiwanis Club of Tahoe Sierra says thank you

The Kiwanis Club of Tahoe Sierra thanks the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe for providing a space for holding the community Child ID Fingerprinting program. The staff of the BGCLT was most courteous and helpful. The children screened were very patient and well-behaved. During the afternoons of Feb. 16-17, Kiwanis volunteers screened over 40 youngsters and issued a printout of fingerprints for their families to retain. In the event of a missing-child investigation, the parents are now able to provide law enforcement with a copy of the fingerprints. If other parents missed this screening opportunity, Kiwanis Club of Tahoe Sierra will be offering additional fingerprinting events during the coming year.
