Kudos & kindness: Residents of Skilled Nursing enjoy time fishing at the Tahoe Trout Farm
A huge thanks to Jim and Jackie Vallier, owners of Tahoe Trout Farm, for once again inviting Barton Skilled Nursing residents to enjoy a day outside and fishing.
This has been an annual event that the residents look forward to every year. The generosity of the Valliers spread out to our community as well, as we caught so many fish; we could only take home a few. Jim donated the rest to Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care and Christmas Cheer. The residents would tell stories of their younger days of fishing and of course of the ones that got away.
None got away at the Trout Farm, and the smiles from the residents remain and are priceless.
Thanks again, Tahoe Trout Farm. We can’t wait ‘til next year!
