Kudos & kindness: Tahoe Valley Transitional Kindergarten Students say thank you

The Tahoe Valley Transitional Kindergarten classes would like to thank Mike and Kyle Wallace and the Sierra-Tahoe Ready Mix Company for bringing a concrete mixer truck to our elementary school. Our TK students have been learning about how homes are built and why a concrete foundation is so important in building a strong house.

After learning about the parts of the mixer such as the cab, bed, drum, hopper and chute, the students watched Mr. Wallace pour the concrete into a bucket. They then made and decorated “stepping stones” with their handprints.

Thank you for an exciting morning!
