Kudos & Kindness: Thank you to regional first responders

This letter is to all the first responders of the accident of Jillian Pruitt in the early morning hours of March 26. I would like to thank the South Lake Tahoe Fire Department, California Highway Patrol, El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office, South Lake Tahoe Police Department and all others who responded to this crash.

You treated me and my son and his two friends with the utmost respect, sincerity, kindness and empathy after this crash claimed the life of a beautiful young lady, Jillian Pruitt. We were devastated by the news you had to deliver to us in those early hours and you handled it and us like we were all family. You even arranged for the department chaplain to come to my home the following day. I would like to take a moment and let her family know that we were there with her and she was not alone. Jillian was treated like a precious loved one by every person at the accident site.

I am very truly sorry for the loss of your daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, friend and loved one.
