Kudos & Kindness: Thanks you from South Lake Tahoe Senior Citizens, Inc.

Members of South Lake Tahoe Senior Citizens, Inc. are very appreciative of the following people and donations, which contributed to our having a successful and enjoyable Holiday-Christmas Party on Dec. 5: Safeway at Johnson Avenue, from manager Sam Coolbaugh; a gift card from Grocery Outlet, Mike and Diane Schouten; a gift card from Port of Subs on Harrison Avenue, Steve Miller; two platters of sandwiches per event from K-mart by Kyle Bergman and his assistant, Clarissa; the beautiful poinsettias and lovely, fire-proof Christmas tree at the Harveys party; and the great food, excellent wait staff and banquet captain, Mike Tyrell, at Harveys, plus Veronica, the business manager who aided us in getting a very generous contribution from C.E. and Karen Lance-Feith.

Also, thank you to the committee for the Holiday-Christmas Party: Carol Olivas, Pam Massman, Don Welton and Ron Glaser, who mostly worked at the party, checking people in, selling raffle tickets, checking tickets at the door and picking up the tree and Poinsettias from K-mart, as well as decorating.

Appreciation goes to the rest of the helpers in decorating, transporting and setting up the tree and other decorations at the party: Angela and Ashley Parillo, Reed Wells and Willy Boslin, and Jonquil Peterson.

In addition, we are appreciative of the entertainment by Fabrizio, Blue Ribbon Choir and the Advanced Intermediate Choir, coordinated by Paul Kushner; sound by Richard Dart; the demonstration of Tai Chi by Freedom Journey and Julie Barnhart; as well as the performance by the stand-up comedian, Jerry Cerwonka.
