Letter- A poem about Lake Tahoe

To the editor:

Oh Lady of the Lake

Why do I frown?

Because you’re not wearing a blue gown

With white ruffles touching the shoreline.

Still all think of you as beautiful.

Mother Nature is playing with your crown.

That hemline is now beige brown

And you’re turning “green with envy.”
