Letter: Complaint agains theater in casino

To the editor:

Regarding Your View, “Theaters good for community,” by Susan Codeglia on March 23, no one is debating on whether the theaters are good or not. In fact, they are great! Much better, we all love them. The problem here is: Location, location and location! It is a simple marketing ploy to get more people into their casino. I do mind having to walk myself and my asthmatic 7-year-old right through a smoking environment. It’s not a suitable place for children; if it were, then why is there a restriction of under 21-year-olds to enter and play?

That’s the complaint! Not our state-of-the-art theater system. We love them, go often; it’s the fact that they are smack-dab in the middle of a potentially dangerous situation for our children, especially our teens!

If they were crafty enough to build so well, I can’t believe they couldn’t figure out a way for a separate outside entrance for the rest of us.
