Letter — Complaints are off base

I was amused by two previous letters to the editor from Bob Hedley. I was left with the impressions that Bob Hedley wanted TRPA to open the flood gates and let whoever build whatever they wanted in the basin. He failed to mention the fact that he sells real estate for a living and more building means more money in his pocket.

His recent letter attacking the Wildlife Care Center and bears was pathetic! If anyone has forgotten, a local developer started this whole bear mess. He bought a large lot behind the wildlife center and made the mistake of building his house with large windows and a deck looking directly down at the center. He devalued his own property by doing this. He has a lousy view with or without the bear enclosure and it’s a shame that the bear enclosure just happened to lack a permit giving his possible legal recourse against the wildlife center. He’s not going to get a better view no matter what course of action he takes or how much Bob Hedley bad mouths bears.

By the way, did I mention that Bod Hedley works for this developer? He sells the houses he builds. Shame on you Bob!
