Letter: Free meals for all police and law enforcement
Police and all law enforcement: please come in to any of our following establishments (uniformed or plain clothes) — by yourself or with your family — on Aug. 1, open to close. This includes California Burger Co. in Heavenly Village, Beach House on Lakeside Beach, and The Beer Garden in the Base Camp Hotel. Please eat and drink as much as you like on us — you and your whole family.
We appreciate you. We’re honored to have you with us. We can’t thank you enough for what you do. We want you to know that we stand behind you.
We are going to do a bigger thank you in September with all of our restaurants around the lake and are going to encourage other businesses to join in — but with all that’s going on we simply could not wait to let you know that we are in your corner.
It is said that there is no greater love than that someone would lay down their life for another, and we want you to know that we appreciate you for that love that you show to our community.
