Letter -Grand jury did good job

Editor’s note: The following letter is addressed to Ken Womack, El Dorado County Grand Jury Foreman, 2000-2001, and appears here at the author’s request.

To the editor:

On behalf of the El Dorado Sheriff’s Office, South Lake Tahoe Custody Facility, I would like to thank the grand jury for publicly recognizing the pride, hard work and commitment to organizational goals of staff members here at South Lake Tahoe. Our crew has put forth 110 percent effort addressing past areas of concern and future trends in the safe and secure incarceration of inmates. In an era when negative comments steal the headlines and are topics of most conversations, we appreciate the positive findings of the grand jury.

Lt. Les Lovell

South Lake Tahoe jail commander
