Letter — Kill the animals, keep Tahoe blue

Climbing ban at Cave Rock, why? the climber’s worship the rock just as much as anybody. If you close Cave Rock to climbing shouldn’t you close the boat ramps? Eliminate cars driving through it, for that matter eliminate all cars, boats, and people at Lake Tahoe. After all it’s all sacred isn’t it? What does the Forest Service have to do with this anyway? They never did anything to enhance the place, the climber’s did. The place was literally a garbage dump! I vouch for that, old tires, 5 gallon buckets with used oil, beer can’s galore, broken glass, etc. Nobody worship’s there. Give me a break! The climbers made it a really neat place for all climbers and non-climbers alike for all the enjoy. The climbers will compromise, give us a chance!

P.S. “Keep Tahoe Blue” but kill all the animals.
