Letter: Lake Tahoe Humane Society says thank you

We would like to acknowledge and give our sincere thanks to all of our organizers, sponsors, participants, and volunteers during our weekend events Aug. 20-21, PokerRide and Show and Shine Bicycle Show.

Matt Whitely of Blues Custom Bikes, our main organizer, did a fantastic job. Coldwater Brewery, California Burger Company, OBC, HBBC, Sutter Street Cruisers, OnCourse Events, Americana Inn — all sponsors, we couldn’t have done without you! To our DJ Grant Stewart, a high five for a great job.

In addition we would like to congratulate all the winners of the Show and Shine Bike Show at Lakeview Commons and for putting on a such a wonderful display of amazing bicycles. All proceeds benefited the Lake Tahoe Humane Society. We hope to continue to make this an annual event.

Also we would like to thank the City of South Lake Tahoe for all their co-operation in making the Bike show at Lakeview Commons possible.

We appreciate all the vendors that also helped to make this event a success. We are so fortunate to live in an animal loving community where not only locals but visitors help to support the Humane Society programs and services.
